AnTech Chlorine Dosing Pump Series: Comparison Table

The AnTech chlorine dosing pumps on our site come from four electromagnetic series: Nova, Lara, Optima and Nano. The series differ in control options, capacity range and power supply. For comparison, the table also includes the peristaltic and mechanical diaphragm series from the catalogue.

Series Control types Flow range Max. back pressure Supply and power
AnTech Nova (12 models) A: analogue, level control · D: digital, volumetric · DMPR: pH/ORP measurement · DMİA: free chlorine measurement 3.5–25 L/h 5–20 bar 95–260 V AC, 50–60 Hz, auto-adapting · 15–27 W
AnTech Lara (20 models) A: analogue · APS: level control · DS: digital, timer · DMS: digital, volumetric · PR: pH/ORP measurement 2–10 L/h 5–20 bar 230 V AC, 50 Hz · 17 W
AnTech Optima (4 models) A: analogue; Viton or Teflon O-ring 2.5–5 L/h 10–15 bar 230 V AC, 50–60 Hz · 20 W
AnTech Nano (2 models) A: analogue 2–5 L/h 5–10 bar 230 V AC, 50 Hz · 10 W
Aspendose, peristaltic (in the catalogue) A: analogue · DMS: digital, volumetric · PR: pH/ORP measurement 0.001–5.1 L/h 0.5–3 bar A: 95–260 V AC · DMS and PR: AC 100–240 V or DC 12–28 V
EMD, mechanical diaphragm (in the catalogue) Manual 0–100% capacity adjustment; adjustment with a motor drive accepting 4–20 mA input 14–630 L/h (50 Hz) 3–7 bar Electric motor · 0.09–0.37 kW

The flow ranges are the nominal values (at maximum pressure) from the catalogue. For the Nova and Optima, the catalogue also gives flow as a function of back pressure: the Nova 25 L/h model reaches 55 L/h at 0.1 bar, and the Optima 5 L/h model 10 L/h at 1 bar.

The four electromagnetic series share the same basic design: an electromagnet controlled by an electronic circuit, a PTFE (Teflon) diaphragm, zirconia balls and an IP65-rated housing. On the Nova, Lara and Optima the pump head is PVDF. Pumps are fitted with Viton O-rings as standard; according to a catalogue note, EPDM and Teflon options for the Nova and Lara, and an EPDM option for the Optima, are available on request. The Optima version with Teflon O-rings is sold as a separate model on our site.

Which AnTech Series Suits Which Job?

When choosing a series, look first at the control requirement and then at flow rate and line pressure: if the flow is constant, choose an analogue model; if the water flow varies, a volumetric model with water meter input; and if the chlorine demand varies, a measurement-controlled model.

  • Home, villa and small workplace, constant flow: Nano A or Lara A. With 10 W power and a weight of 1.76 kg, the AnTech Nano A 2 L/h 10 Bar is the lightest and lowest-consumption model among AnTech electromagnetic pumps.
  • Monitoring the chemical tank: The Lara APS and Nova A work with a suction assembly with a level sensor. The 1/10 step on the AnTech Lara APS 2 L/h 10 Bar makes adjustment easier at low flow rates.
  • Line with flow that varies during the day: The AnTech Lara DMS 5 L/h 7 Bar or the Nova D doses chemical in proportion to the water passing through, using the signal from a water meter.
  • Chlorine and pH control in a pool: The AnTech Lara PR 5 L/h 7 Bar or the Nova DMPR adjusts the dose according to ORP or pH measurement. Separate pumps are used for chlorine and pH.
  • Monitoring free chlorine in ppm in a drinking water tank: The AnTech Nova DMİA 10 L/h 10 Bar measures free chlorine with an amperometric sensor; the sensor is selected separately.
  • Line pressure above 10 bar: Nova 3.5 L/h (20 bar), Lara 2 L/h 20 bar or Optima 2.5 L/h (15 bar).
  • Hundreds of litres per hour, or a gas-forming chemical: look at EMD mechanical diaphragm pumps for high flow and Aspendose peristaltic pumps for gas-forming chemicals; if you are undecided, write to us.

AnTech Dosing Pump Prices

AnTech dosing pump prices are derived from the catalogue price in euros, converted at the exchange rates of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. On the English site, prices are shown in USD excluding VAT and are recalculated every day at the current exchange rate.

The price is determined mainly by the control type: at the same capacity, the price rises as you move from an analogue model to level control, digital and measurement-controlled models. At the lower end of the list are the analogue Nano and Optima, and at the upper end the measurement-controlled Nova DMPR and DMİA models. On pumps with pH/ORP and free chlorine measurement, the electrode or sensor is not included in the price and is sold separately. You can find the current prices of the 38 models in a single list on our chlorine dosing pump prices page. For prices of the EMD and Aspendose series and other products in the catalogue, write to us.

Original AnTech Spare Parts and Service

We source original replacements for the wear parts of AnTech pumps through the official distributor channel, and we also provide installation, maintenance, calibration and repair services. The catalogue has a separate spare parts table for each series:

  • Head and check valve assemblies: The parts of a diaphragm pump that come into contact with the chemical and wear over time.
  • Suction and discharge assemblies, hose kits: The connection size varies with capacity. For example, Nova 25 L/h models use 9×12 mm, while the other Nova capacities use 4×6 mm on the suction side and 4×7 mm on the discharge side.
  • Suction assembly with level sensor: On level-controlled models, it reports the tank level to the pump.
  • Options: Head assembly with automatic air bleed (Nova 3.5 and 10 L/h, Lara 2 L/h 20 bar), signal cable set (included in the package on the Lara DMS) and the ModBus RTU (RS485) communication module for Nova digital models.

When requesting parts or service, tell us the model and capacity on the pump’s label, the chemical you use and the problem. The services are described in detail on our chlorine dosing pump service page, and part replacement on our spare part and diaphragm replacement page. As sodium hypochlorite dries it leaves salt crystals, which build up in the check valves and reduce dosing; checking the foot filter, hoses and check valves regularly extends the life of the parts.

Technical Documents for Tenders and Purchasing

Specification texts prepared with the catalogue values of the AnTech series, which you can use in tender and purchasing documents, are on our chlorine dosing pump technical specification page. Each product page also has a technical table with flow, pressure, stroke, connections, power supply, protection rating and materials. The Technical Documents section of the catalogue contains the ORP electrode operating chart, the proportional control chart, flow–pressure charts, the pool control system wiring diagram and the chemical resistance list. Write to us if you need a data sheet or a dated quotation.
